A Benefit for Cancer

USPA NEWS - Jimmy Jay of CAA International and Sherry Gordy of Sherry Gordy presents held a benefit on April 11 and 12 for the Lazarex Cancer Foundation. The event was held at the Las Vegas Hilton and The Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV.
The 2014 Las Vegas Soul Festival was put on by Jimmy Jay of CAA International and Sherry Gordy of Sherry Gordy Presents to benefit the Lazarex Cancer Foundation. The event started on Friday April 11th at the Las Vegas Hilton with the Red Carpet and Meet & Greet starting at 7pm and he All White Party at 10pm later that evening.
The artists for the two day event were Ray Goodman & Brown, The Dramatics, Lenny Williams, Next, Con Funk Shun, Tony Toni Tone and Cameo.
On Saturday, April 12th the event moved over to The Thomas & Mack Center where the were there early and ready to party and the artists did not disappoint them, from beginning to end the crowd was on their feet.
The Festival ended but no one forgot what the 2 day event was all about.
The two day event was a success, I dont know when they started putting it together but the week I spent with everyone was great. On Monday I met Jimmy Jay and hewas focus on what he wanted to do, I met Sherry Gordy later and she also knew what she wanted and between the both of them and the people around them brought everything together, by the time Friday rolled around everything and everyone knew what they had to do and was ready for the event to start.
